About solidadvent
My name is James and this is my tumblr. I post about anything but with solidadvent I aim to generally keep it centered on videogames, philosophy and other interesting subjects. I am a graduate of the United States Military Academy at West Point and am currently serving in the United States Army, dragging my poor wife all over kingdom come. Absolutely nothing I post here should be construed as anything more than a personal outlet of weirdness.
I have some other stuff I’ve done on the web, but currently my friend’s server is down, so there you go.
The first post on this blog was on March 29th, 2008. I kept this design from that day to May 17th, 2011. I still have that HTML if anyone needs it.
The name solidadvent came about as I was trying to fit together really meaningless words that sound cool in videogame titles together for a meaningless blog. Metal Gear Solid and Mega Man ZX: Advent, thank you very much.
